A disciple of Jesus Christ is

 someone who wants to know

 Him, follow Him, learn from

 Him, and obey Him.

_____  1.  Get a Bible of your own.

 

_____  2.  Memorize John 5:24 and say it to an adult.  Then write a paragraph about what it means in your own words.

 

_____  3.  Bring a friend to church or a youth event.

 

_____  4.  Write out what area(s) God is working on most in your heart and life right now.  Share this with an adult you respect so they can pray for you.

                    

_____  5.  Read Revelation 3:20.  When did Jesus Christ knock on the door to your heart?  Did you let Him come in?   Write your spiritual story of new birth and let one of the leaders in your church read it.  (If you aren’t sure about eternal life, talk with one of the leaders in your church about it.)

 

_____  6.  Choose one of the Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke or John and read it. 

 

_____  7.  Tell someone who has helped you significantly in life that you appreciate them and all that they do for you. 

 

_____  8.  Memorize the names of the Books of the New Testament.

 

_____  9.  Look for an opportunity to tell someone you know some of the benefits of being a Christian.

 

_____  10. Begin the habit of feeding yourself spiritually by reading God’s word and praying everyday for a month.  If you miss a day, start over. :)
