Have you considered God’s greatness lately?

“O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth,” are the words of the psalmist as he contemplates the awesomeness of God (Psalm 8.1). Again, in Psalm 139 he considers God’s omniscience and declares His “knowledge is to wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it” (Psalm 139.6). He continues by stating there is nowhere to flee from God’s presence, and also speaks of God’s intricate involvement in our lives, even in our formation, God was there, and aware, and at work!If that isn’t enough, His thoughts are precious and vast in number toward us. God’s creation, all by itself is enough to capture man’s attention and lead us into some level of understanding God’s invisible attributes, His eternal power, and His Godhead (Romans 1.20), leaving all of mankind with no excuse for not worshiping, serving and glorifying Him.

During our worship services, we are presently Gaining Perspective as we work through several Psalms on Sunday morning. As we discover the human emotions the writers experienced through their different dilemmas and situations, we also discover the writers Gaining Perspective in life as they consider who God is and what He has revealed of Himself.

Take the time and consider the greatness of God!
